Västervik Drone Science Park (VDSP) is continuously involved in different activities and context, initiated by VDSP or through collaborations. For example different projects, collaborative innovations, events, conferences, lectures, R/D, test and demo, matchmaking in different forms, helpin others with drone related events and conferences etc.

UAS Forum Sweden
(Västervik May 20-21 - 2025)
Founded in 2015 by Urban Wahlberg, a former army/air force pilot and founder of the drone testing operation Drone Center Sweden in Västervik.
Over the years, UAS Forum has developed, broadened, and grown to become Sweden's largest and most important drone conference. When VDSP was founded the UAS Forum conference was taken under its wings.
Since one should not change a winning concept, Urban Wahlberg naturally continues as the “Conference General” to ensure high quality in the program and design.
2025 marks the 10th anniversary and the ambitions are higher than ever. It will be held in Västervik for two days, on May 20-21, 2025

Drone Week
(Week 21, May 19-25 - 2025)
In 2023, with UAS Forum as foundation, Västervik expanded drone related activities over more days. Filles with interesting related activities like drone racing (Västervik Drone Trophy) and also a special demonstration day put together with Agtech2030 in Gamleby (UXV research within forestry and agricultural applications).
We are now planing for 2025 week 21, May 19-25.
Västervik Drone Trophy
In 2023 the first drone challange and race was performed in Västervik as part of the Swedish Drone Cup.
During Drone Week in Västervik 2025 we are now planing for next challange and scale up the event!
